Phew, that was quite exciting. I went to the store with my dog and after I left, this small stray dog just ran at me and started playing with my dog. I thought that it belonged to someone behind or ahead of me, but there was no one there, and out of the blue, the dog ran across the street and almost got run over. I reflected for a minute and then went after him to catch and report him to the police so they could, I don't know, check his chip or whatever. It was a female dog and she didn't have any ID tag, only a brown collar. I looked for five minutes and saw her disappear behind of the many look-alike buildings. I dropped my backpack and ran after her, my own dog going crazy because she loves running as well as I do. She just tends to bite the leash playfully, we never got that out of her. Running around the corner, we finally saw the little dog. She must of been very young, not a pup anymore, maybe a year old or so. She continued playing with my dog and after maybe 20 minutes of trying to catch a very smart dog, I saw someone walking past me and looking at me. Well it must have been quite a picture, a teenager standing in the snow with a leash wrapped around his legs and a ball of brown, white and black fur yapping like hell. I asked him for help, and he recognised the dog. He said he'd show the building to me, it was a couple blocks away in the same street, and when we got to it, he just walked away. I yelled 'thank you so much', but he didn't turn or anything. There was a girl standing in the window waving, and it turned out it was her dog. She came down, dog ran inside, she said thanks, that was it.

But I felt like I'd done something good that day and I spent the rest of the day totally happy.
